Chapter 7

After ten minutes I was ready. I wore a cute black dress, with black high heels. I didn't wear any make up, I looked so scary. My face was pale, but it was better than not going out. I didn't want to start any fights with Fawaz. I stayed in my bed, waiting for Fawaz.
After two minutes, Fawaz showed up with a towel around his waist. Water dripping down from his wavy, messy hair. He literally looked perfect.
Fawaz: "Wait a bit and I'll be done."
Jazi: "Enshallah."
Fawaz went to the closet and wore his creamy white dishdasha. After that, he went in front of the mirror and started doing his ghitra.
Fawaz: "Ready?"
Jazi: "Eeh!"
Fawaz: "Wait!" He stared at me suspiciously.
Jazi: "Yes?"
Fawaz: "Come closer to me." He commanded.
What did I do now? I went closer to him, with my head bent down. He put his finger on my chin and pushed it slightly up, forcing me to make eye contact with him.
Jazi: "Fawaz shnu?"
Fawaz: "Can't I kiss my wife?"
Jazi: "Yes, you can." I blushed, he's adorable.
He slowly leaned over and kissed me.
Fawaz: "Do you have any makeup on?"
Jazi: "Nope."
Fawaz: "Let me check." He carefully inspected my face.
Fawaz: "Do you have eyeliner?"
Jazi: "Nope, my eyes are naturally like that."
Seriously? We've been married for three years and he still doesn't know what my eyes look like?
Fawaz: "But your eyes look like you have eyeliner on."
Jazi: "Fawaz my eyes are like this! After all these years you don't know what my eyes look like?"
Fawaz: "Stop the silliness."
Jazi: "Enshallah" I obeyed, I didn't want to start any fights.
Fawaz intertwined our hands and we went downstairs. We saw Jassim and Sarah in the living room. I tried not to make eye contact.
Fawaz: "Bye, we're going out."
Jassim and Sarah: "Bye, enjoy yourselves." Wow, they were actually nice for once.
We went outside and got in the car. We drove off and stopped at red stoplight and I saw a person in the car next to us. I never thought I'd see this person after my marriage, my eyes instantly started tearing up.
