Chapter 11

We went up to our room and laid down on the bed, watching television. We were watching a movie, I'm not sure what its called. In the movie a really beautiful lady came up.
Jazi: "She's very pretty!" I squealed.
Fawaz: "Eeh, Mashallah!" Fawaz agreed.
He's married, how dare he agree that a girl is beautiful? I'm right in front of him. I lowered my head, I could hear Fawaz chuckle. Suddenly Zac Efron came up on the screen.
Jazi: "Wow." I said while staring at him.
Fawaz: "What did you say?" He asked through gritted teeth.
Jazi: "I said wow, about Zac Efron." I felt it was okay to say that since he said a girl was pretty, I could say a guy was attractive.
I felt that he was calm, too calm. Weird. Exactly seconds later I felt him pulling my hair, forcing me to get up. He held my face with both of his hands, forcing me to face him. He was hurting me, as usual.
Fawaz: "How dare you say that?" He looked very scary.
Jazi: "I didn't do anything wrong!" I defended myself.
Fawaz pulled me from my hair towards the wall. What is he going to do to me now?
Jazi: "Fawaz, please you don't have to do this." I pleaded.
Fawaz: "Shut up."
Jazi: "Okay." I quietly mumbled.
Fawaz: "Shut up." He repeated.
I was just about to reply when he smashed my head to the wall. I can't even explain how painful that was.
Jazi: "Please stop." I was begging him now.
Fawaz: "Say one more word and see what I'll do to you." Fawaz kept staring into my eyes.
Whenever I looked down, he puts his hands on my chin and forces me to look into his eyes. I don't get what he's trying to do. The look he was giving me just scares me so much! He was still holding me tight, I was trying to loosen his grip. Fawaz pushed me to the ground. There was a table to my right, my hips were smashed to the corner of the table, and my head slammed to the ground. I'm only hoping and praying that the baby in my stomach is healthy and alive. I was praying for my baby's life while I was laying flat on the ground, afraid to move. Suddenly pain shot through me, I was just about to scream out when I saw the devilish look in Fawaz's eyes. I didn't say anything, afraid I might get into any more trouble.
